what rear calipers is everyone using and the part numbers if available ?

junkyard parts are hard to find around here so the mounting brackets will have to be made or bought also

I am in the process of upgragding to Dynalite Wilwoods from a rather large single piston Toyota caliper. It seems the bigger the tire, and heavier the buggy the more force required to lock a wheel. I will update once installed.

The group I ride with all use 85 to 88 Nissan sentra front calipers on the rear. They work great.

we use a piece of plate welded to the top of the 2x3 arm. the plate is 3/16 or thicker. It is just a small flat bracket with 2 holes for the caliper to bolt too and the area between bolt holes bellied out so the caliper body does not hit it and is able to float with the rotor.

Junk yard rebuilt Toyota Corolla front calipers,(on rear) home built bracets, similar to above mentioned. Have found, but not tried, 70's- early 80's Toyota Forerunners had 4 piston calipers for non vented rotors. If some one wanted to check them out, they might be a good retro fit.
