Ok, Im wanting to upgrade to some better brake calipers, Would be able to just go buy a set and be done BUT I dual beadlocked my rims So my question is if I could get some measurements of how high different calipers you guys are running are from the outer edge of the brake rotor. Im running the cheapo ghia calipers now and have about 1/4" of clearance between the beadlock ring and brakes. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks |

Most people run Willwood 4 piston calipers and they work very well. I personally use Jamar and they work great but they are pricey. |

Yea, The deciding factor is going to be the caliper size/heighth off of the rotor so it will clear my rim... |

Im using wilwood dynalite 4 piston calipers its 1 inch bigger then the rotor.thats a safe height you probably get a little closer so it will be about 7/8 of a inch higher then the rotor. when I went to the canton swap meet last month I bought 2 of them for $20 each what a find |

grind the caliper down like they do on 4x4 if it is too large.... some are takin a lot more off them than you would think just depends on the caliper |
